Two days in Le Marche – The Verdicchio di Matelica wines
During the past decade, the Marche region of Italy has become a “secret destination” for who are looking for an authentic, unspoiled area of this fabulous country. Possessed of sparkling coast lines, rolling farm lands and ranges of tumbling mountains in the Appenine range, Le Marche has everything.
This tour will take you into the heart of this spectacular region...a journey for body, mind and soul.
1st Day
- Arrival and check in at an 18th century country palace;
- Dinner at leisure
- Evening at leisure
2nd day
- Guided tour of the “Centro analisi Sensoriale di Matelica” and wine tasting (Verdicchio di Matelica);
- Typical Lunch in a farmhouse where you could buy typical product of the Marche region.
- Guided tour of the old town centre of Camerino (during afternoon);
- Dinner at leisure;
- Evening at leisure.
3rd day
- Guided tour of the turistic and cultural centre of the “Abbadia di Fiastra” and the chance to visit the beautiful Cistercian Abbey and the archaeological Park of “Urbs Salvia”;
- Typical Lunch in a restaurant next to the Abbey;
- Guided tour of the wine-growing and wine-producing Company “Il Pollenza”, located in the town of Tolentino;
- Dinner at leisure;
- Evening at leisure.

Barone Ricasoli - Castello di Brolio
Ricasoli is the oldest winery in Italy, meaning it has been under continuous cultivation for over 1500 years and producing delicious wines that have rolled across the palettes of Etruscans, Romans, medieval princes and modern folk alike.
